  • Often people who have been taking a medication for a long period of time believe that it has lost its effectiveness.
 WHAT TO DO 
  • Contact your physician if you feel that the medication is no longer effective.
  • Take all medication as directed.
  • Do not stop taking a medication or change the way you take a medication without checking with your doctor.
  • Never take more than the recommended doses of any medication unless prescribed by your doctor.
  • Check expiration dates of all medication. Discard the medication if the date of expiration has passed.
